We have been learning about North Carolina government. We have discussed the three branches of state and federal government. Through our discussions we have learned how each branch works. For this post, I would like for you to think of a new law (rule) for the clasroom. Write it down and we will discuss each post.

The beginning of the year has been hectic but fun. My class is a mixture of seriousness and silliness. We have many different personalities but as a whole we are a good bunch. They are good to go with the flow as our schedule changes. I look forward to woonderful year.

Summer Notes

Isn't it amazing how summer flies by and August 25 is almost upon us! Everywhere you go you see a rainbow of bookbags and lunchboxes, the fresh smell of brand new crayons and an assortment of supplies that are either High School Musicial or the Jonas Brothers. Both of which make me cringe. Are you ready? I think I am. I have gotten into the "teacher" mode and have been purchasing some the essentials for my classroom. Yes I go overboard but I feel that if I have someone who needs something, I can provide it for them. I am about to imbark on a new school year where I don't have the comfort of my teammates from last year. It will be strange and challenging but my "new" team will be fun to work with. We'll see......
